    Stopped in again while visiting home. Ooooh the memories from both having pizza with my family on a Friday night growing up and walking there for lunch in high school, with all the personal za's lined up on the countertop waiting for us kids, hoping we wouldn't be late getting back to class due to a train.

    Pizza was great, as usual. Honestly, it really is. Nice crisp, thin crust that I've not been able to find anywhere else. Only had the pepperoni due to the pickiness of my kiddo.

    We'll see you again on our next visit!

    It opened in 1972, it looks the same as it did except its all run-down and tore up... Dont try to order in unless you have an hour and half to sit there before you get your pizza.. They make all the pick-up and deliveries first, We went there and we were the ONLY customers in the restaurant and they told us it would be 1.5 hours before they would make our food... With that being said about their wonderful customer service I will tell you to run.... There is a Pizza Man in Salem it took 20 minutes to get our food.... Go there...

    What kind of restaurant doesn't take credit cards?!!! Holy crap! Avoid this place until they join the 21st century!

    Pizza isn't too bad actually. Thin crust which is good. But like most pizza places in the Midwest, they cut the pizza into squares (not the traditional NY pie cut pizza).

    Spending the night in Mount Vernon and decided to give The Pizza Man a shot. Bad idea! One of the worst pizzas I have ever had! Crust is thinner than a cracker and tough! Sauce does not taste good. Don't waste your money!
